About the event
Riley Neilson will be discussing how you can integrate asset protection with tax planning. Every day more tax-related legislation is passed, increasing the tax burden on small businesses and investors. In addition, over the past 12 months, the number of liability-related lawsuits in United States courts has increased by 97%. To reduce their losses, insurance companies are now denying claims and adding more exclusions to their policies than ever in history. Individuals and businesses are being sued to make up the difference, and, in many cases, the claims against them exceed the limit of their insurance policy, forcing them to pay for damages personally. Predatory lawsuits like these target people of the middle class because of their inability to bear the heavy legal fees to defend themselves. It's an epidemic; the justice system is being weaponized and used to get paid instead of being used to get justice. Good people of limited means are losing the assets they spent a lifetime building.
