The mass murder last week at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, has something in common with America's deadliest massacres - the AR-15 semiautomatic rifle. Variations of the AR-15 were used in this month's massacre at a Buffalo supermarket; at a Texas Walmart in 2019; a Florida high school in 2018; a Texas church and a Las Vegas concert in 2017; and Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012. The AR-15 style weapon is the most popular rifle in America with well over 11 million. And they are rarely used in crime. But, the AR-15 is the weapon of choice of the worst mass murderers. AR-15 ammunition travels up to three times the speed of sound. And as we first showed you in 2018, we're going to slow that down - so you can see why the AR-15's high velocity ammo is the fear of every american emergency room.
Rusty Duncan: I've never had the experience, not with any kind of weapon like this. For me to see the damage that it did was unbelievable, it was shattering concrete, I-- you know, you can only imagine what it does to a human body.
Remembrance or Boss Weapons, are special weapons used and dropped by Demi-gods and Bosses. These type of Weapons have the ability to hold additional powers and effects, providing extra perks and advantages during combat.
These weapons are valuable rewards and usually have a superior set of stats compared to regular Weapons. They also have a unique Skill attached to them to complement their already heightened stats.
You can change the Scaling on Weapons if you change the Ash of War depending on which Whetblades you have found. For example if you infuse the Weapon with the Heavy Infution it will remove every Scaling besides STR and upgrade the STR scaling on the weapon.
Weapons are used by the character to fend off enemies, each having its own unique way of doing so. Most weapons deal damage to enemies, while some apply debuffs to enemies or buffs to the player. Every character can have up to 6 different weapons at a time.
Normally, each character has access to one of the base weapons as their starting weapon and is able to obtain additional base weapons as they level up. Rarity determines the weight of how often that weapon shows up in the pool of possible weapons and passive items.
If an already owned weapon is selected upon level up it will be upgraded to a higher level and it will gain certain stat bonuses unique to the weapon. There is certain chance to have owned items offered to you. When a weapon is fully leveled it cannot appear in the level up options anymore.
When a base weapon is leveled to the max and its corresponding passive item is obtained, it can be transformed into an evolved weapon by collecting a Treasure Chest. Not all weapons have an evolution.
Evolved weapons usually cannot be upgraded and only have one level. They mostly have a rarity of 1. If they have more levels, their upgrades will likely appear after all the weapon and passive item slots are filled and maxed.
Special weapons cannot appear when leveling up. They are used as the structure of an attack that is temporary or an effect. When they are used as an effect, they behave slightly differently compared to when they are modified to be actual weapons.
