Lecturer Bio:

Don has an educational and professional background in Finance and Securities Investing. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with four majors including Finance, Banking, Investment Science & Portfolio Management, and Accounting. He has nearly two decades of work experience in the finance/investing industry.

He has now been married for over 21 years and together with his wife they have four children. His wife is from Paraguay and together they enjoy the opportunities they have to travel back to visit family there and to help the communities in South America. Their ultimate goal is to create opportunities for people there to have better sources of income to improve their circumstances and provide housing to those in need.
Don began understanding Real Estate as an alternative investment vehicle around 2010 when his wife began studying for her Real Estate license. After moving to Idaho in 2015, he really developed a hunger for real estate. He purchased his first small multi-family property in 2017 and continued buying more soon after.

As his knowledge and understanding of Real Estate investing grew, he got involved with some commercial property development, including a multi-tenant, triple-net lease retail property in Arkansas and an 800-unit multi-family development in Idaho. This pursuit of non-traditional real estate led him to research RV Campground investing which ultimately led him to working with Happy Camper Capital. He now finds great satisfaction helping to provide high-return investment opportunities to others who want to invest in real estate but aren't satisfied with average returns.

When not focused on real estate and networking, he enjoys serving others. He has held several service and mentorship positions in the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of America. A fun fact, Don is fluent in Spanish. He lived in Northern Argentina for two years on a volunteer service mission for his Church from 1998-2000 and even operated a translation business in the early 2000s.
