Event Details: Nelson Zambrano, the founder and managing partner at Normandy Group, will talk about his personal journey in real estate. Nelson will discuss all the tips and tricks on getting funding from the government and other sources. Presenter Bio: Nelson Zambrano is the founder and managing partner at Normandy Group. Nelson's goal is to provide quality services to help property owners maximize the values of their multi family/multi unit and/or hotel properties. Nelson is the former VP of a Lloyds of London broker, handling Special Risk insurance in Latin America. During his time in this market, he grew his assigned territories well over 50%, to include being publically recognized by Hiscox, the premier insurer for all Special Risk lines. Previous to this he was a mutual fund wholesaler with Evergreen Funds, being instrumental in Evergreen launching its first ever offshore fund, aimed specifically at foreign investors. Nelson is also a US Army Officer (Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) US Army Reserve) having been recalled to active duty numerous times after 9/11. Nelson has extensively studied and has been mentored by some of real estate industry's best, giving him access to very senior leadership at Deloitte. He focuses on both commercial property and single family. His training background ranges from recognizing U.S. Emerging markets, Asset Management, and Syndication, as well as some advanced techniques such as, Owner Finance, Lease Options, and Master Lease Options.
